What did you do before foundU?

Why did you join?

Well, my lovely friend Renee hit me up and said I would be a really good fit and I said – mmm, I don’t know about that.

Then we got chatting and went for an interview and the rest is history.

I am Customer Success Manager, I have my allotted customers that I look after and make sure they get the most out of the platform.

I worked as an accountant manager at an email marketing company for resellers of the platform.

Why did you join?

Mel worked here and said I should check it out. Renee ambushed me at a conference acting like she was just saying hi, but was really scoping me out. A position opened up and here I am.

Culturally foundU was really appealing and the platform looked great.

How and why the product works from onboarding all the way up until payroll and definitely not invoicing – then ask Max

Nearly a year (three weeks off).

What did you do before foundU?

Worked at a precious metal based crypto currency start-up (Kinesis).

Any crypto recommendations?

Dogecoin to the moon! But honestly, hard to say. Stable coins are always good because they are tied to a tangible asset.

Why did you join foundU?

Personal recommendation and that’s how it all started. Was very interested in the product, came and met the product team and rest was history.

What do you do at foundU?

Product design, research with stakeholders and customers for product problems. Then design and prototype solutions with the product team.

What can you help foundU staff with?

If you want a metal band recommendation, I’ve got you covered and of course, anything design wise.

Professional highlight of last year?

Creating the foundU design system in a way that uses reusable and scalable components, this has enabled us to create UI designs and prototypes much faster and with consistency.

Thing you most want to accomplish this year?

Big one is we want to improve the design to development process to ensure consistency. Also, work on improving customer feedback repository.

Tell us a joke?

I can’t put it in the newsletter but feel free to come ask me in person.
